Strong visual design elements and exceptional character work combine to produce real time storytelling that audiences become part of.

With style and humour, these whimsical characters take the audience down the rabbit hole and show them a curious time.

This show  intends to turn your event into a magical Wonderland, by presenting scenes adapted from Lewis Carroll’s classic book, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. Most of the scenes are interactive walkabout performance that passers-by can get involved in, giving them the experience of being on their own adventure in Wonderland. A high level of physical skill, strong costuming, and slapstick humour, all work brilliantly to keep your guests entertained.

Alice Chasing the Rabbit
Performed on stilts, roller skates, or on foot – a walkabout sketch that often involves a crowd of children being enlisted by Alice to help find the White Rabbit – a big game of hide and seek.

The Tea Party
This scene is part walkabout and part static show. The Tea-Party crew (Mad hatter, March Hare, Dormouse and walking Table) start several tea parties each one interrupted by the Table who gets bored and runs off. Eventually they meet Alice and a scene ensues. The static scene is full of acrobatics and acrobalance routines and can be performed to its own musical soundtrack.

The Caterpillar
The storytelling Caterpillar (on a mushroom on stilts) installs himself in some suitable location and waxes lyrical to all and sundry (including Alice).

The Cheshire Cat
Where possible, we rig a trapeze (onto a tree or beam) or otherwise find a suitable elevated spot for the Cheshire Cat to sit. In a similar fashion to the Caterpillar scene (and usually at the same time) passers-by and Alice are given unhelpful directions by the Cat. If rigging is possible the Cat also performs a routine.

The Pack of Cards
Six cards perform slapstick acrobalance and marching routines. The language of card games is used (cut/snap/shuffle/split etc).

Croquet and the Queen’s Big Number
This scene can be performed in many different ways. Our favourite currently involves the audience being roped in to being ‘hoops’ and ‘hedgehogs’ by the Queen who competes with Alice to score the most points. The Queen cheats horribly and ALWAYS wins – “Who’s Queen?” We know we have done well when we get boo’ed off!

This flexible show works equally well at a party, on the street or at a festival.

The act is always happy to write new material to fit particular requirements.
