Interactive Periscope Walkabout
A Few Feet Up is an interactive performance piece that invites audiences to enjoy a different view of their location. A Few Feet Up allows audiences to step outside the ordinary view and take in the historical architecture and developing townscape that surrounds the viewer.
The performance is centered on a tall working periscope that is held up by two performers. An audience member is invited to look through this large, otherworldly contraption and help test the periscope describing what they can see and playing games set by the two performers.
This is perfect for adding a sense of obscurity, old world technology, vintage styling and creative ingenuity to your event. It is great for children of all ages and a big hit with families and dads.
Technical Specifications
- 11ft height clearance required inside, preferably an outdoor piece.
- can not perform in strong winds or heavy rain
- 3x40 minutes sets in a 5 hour period.
- 30 minute get in and get out time.
- secure changing space required to store periscope between sets.
