Queen Liz and Francis Drake

Although in Elizabethan dress and chatting in Elizabethan English, these characters are hysterical (think Blackadder rather than Glenda Jackson!). Elizabeth (no. 1) entertains her subjects as Francis tries on a regular basis to conquer Spain. (If he could just work out where it was…) From Shakespeares Globe to Elton Johns White Tie and Tiara Ball they always go down a storm.
