The lead singer, Shama is a versatile and very capable singer bringing you the sweetness of India and a voice that reaches you beyond any language. With a line up of 2 of the best male singers in the UK bollywood music circuit and 5 highly experienced musicians (keyboards, drums, lead guitar, bass guitar and indian percussion), Shama and her band have been wowing audiences in the UK and abroad for the past 15 years. They are also the only bollywood band in the U.K. producing their own original songs which are regularly played on Asian radio and t.v. stations!
The versatility of the band is reflected in its ability to perform a huge range of bollywood songs from dance tracks to easy listening, bhangra and some English songs too! The band has performed internationally as far and wide as South America, Caribbean, West Africa, Dubai and Europe. Performances include dinner & dances, festivals, stage shows, weddings, parties, corporate shows, melas & mehfils.
Additional musicians can be added to the core 8-piece band. Traditional Indian dancers & dhol players can be added to enhance the visual spectacle. A sound system and extra stage lighting can also be provided to suit each venue.
