Inspired by the classic novel by Robert C. O’Brien, the last man alive……..

Inspired by the classic novel by Robert C. O’Brien, this is a highly skilled, jaw-droppingly exciting and beautiful routine on the rope (corde lisse).

The last man alive stumbles into the light in a ghoulish gasmask.

Looking slowly about, he surveys unseen devastation. Preferring death to life alone on a post-apocalyptic planet, he removes his gasmask and throws it down.

He then twists his way up the rope, performing an aerial dance as he convulses to radiation sickness. This elegant yet raw routine was performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 09 in the critically acclaimed Tales of the Apocalypse.

‘an unadulterated display of gymnastic ability and strength’(from THE SCOTSMAN)
